Millets

As declared by the United Nations, the year 2023 is being celebrated at the International Year of Millets.

Rampur Krishak FPO recognizes the nutritional value of millets and is working on integrating millets into its Sanvardhan initiative so that two goals can be achieved:

• Crop diversification for farmers

• Provision of nutrition to children etc. through millets

Along these lines, we have set up a Millet Shoppe in Moradabad that actively conducts retail trade in millets and promotes consumption of locally produced coarse grains.

Additionally, we provide millet farming training and have integrated millets in our Millet Upma and Millet Mix Khichri.
